Ronald E. Sneed
Ron Sneed graduated from Jacksonville University in 1972, served in the United States Army from 1972 to 1974, and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School in 1978. He was admitted to the North Carolina bar in 1978. Ron has been in practice in Black Mountain, North Carolina, since September, 1978, and has been the attorney for the Town of Black Mountain since 1982. Ron is a member of the N.C. State Bar, the N.C. Bar Association, the N.C. Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the N.C. Municipal Attorneys Association.
     
 

 

Ginny M. Lindsey
Ginny assists Ron with lawsuits, estate administrations, and business law. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNC-Asheville and took paralegal studies at Western Piedmont Community College. Previously she worked as a community organizer, directed a nonprofit organization, and was a dance teacher. She is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal and a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Legal Assistants Division.
     
 
 

 

Anna V. Stearns
Anna is responsible for general office management. In addition, she assists Ron with the representation of real estate developers, preparation of estate planning documents, deeds, easements and other areas of our practice. Anna graduated from Owen High School in 2000 and attended UNC-Asheville. She is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal and a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Legal Assistants Division.
     
    Nyle Melton
Nyle coordinates all of Ron’s real property closings. She earned her Associates degree in Paralegal Education from Blanton’s Junior College in 1990. She has more than 10 years experience as a paralegal and has also worked as a Mortgage Loan Closing Specialist, making her familiar with all aspects of the closing process. She is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal.
     
    Melissa Laxton
Melissa is apprenticing with Ron in real property title searching. She graduated from Owen High School in 1998 and attended Appalachian State University. She has experience as a surveyor’s assistant and completed the Real Estate Appraiser course at AB-Tech. This thorough knowledge of property descriptions and values makes her a great asset in accurate title searching.
